Prime Arts Review

Editorial policy

Prime Arts Review aims to make arts coverage careful, readable and fair. We distinguish fact from interpretation, give readers enough context to follow an argument and correct material errors openly.

Accuracy and context

We check names, dates, titles and other factual details against suitable sources before publication. When a point is uncertain or disputed, we say so rather than presenting an interpretation as settled fact. We give traditions and works context where it helps readers understand them, and avoid flattening differences between artists, forms or communities.

Independence and corrections

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a favour to a contributor, partner or subject. We consider relevant interests when they could affect how a piece is understood. If a published item contains a material error, we review it and make a clear correction; readers may send corrections through the Contact page.

Partner material

Paid, gifted or otherwise partnered material is identified plainly wherever it appears. Partners do not receive the right to dictate independent editorial conclusions, and we do not present promotional copy as independent criticism.

Illustrations and changes

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where an illustration could be mistaken for a documentary image, its nature is made clear. Images are used to support the subject, not to stand in as evidence. We may update articles for clarity or accuracy and note significant changes when appropriate.
